In a energy industry first, Zenobē Energy has been awarded a long-term reactive power contract by National Grid Electricity System Operator (ESO) commencing in April 2022.
Zenobē will build a 50 MW energy storage system at the Capenhurst substation near Ellesmere Port in the Merseyside region. The reactive power contract spans a nine year period.
