We tackle the initial challenges of switching to electric vehicle fleets head on, with our fully financed and complete solution. For a cost lower than running diesel fleets, operators get electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, grid connection, battery managed service and software.

Today we have a 25% share of the UK e-bus market, a goal for >3,000 e-buses by 2025 and global ambitions.

  • Reducing CO2 – An e-bus saves 990 tonnes of CO2 over its 15 year life compared to a diesel bus.
  • Reducing cost – The total cost of owning and running EVs is often lower than diesel vehicles.

Our grid-connected batteries store excess renewable power from solar panels and wind turbines when they’re generating and release it back into the grid when they’re not.

As a carbon neutral organisation, signatory to the Science Based Targets initiative and proud participant in the United Nations’ Race to Zero campaign, we are making a big impact by implementing our solutions at scale.

  • 1.9 million tonnes of CO2 emissions saved by 2025, 13 million by 2035.
  • By 2035 this will deliver 0.9% of the UK’s net zero target.
  • 13 million tonnes of CO2 emissions saved is equivalent to planting 13 million trees if they lasted for 100 years.
  • By 2025 we’ll have saved over 54 tonnes of NOx emissions (oxides of nitrogen air pollutants).

Beyond the direct impacts of our products, we’re ensuring we deliver material, value and carbon savings throughout their lifecycle. The path to net zero isn’t straight, it’s circular, so we’re beginning to close the loop. We’ve redeployed an e-bus battery called Björn to power Extreme E’s race operations, but the applications for portable power are endless.
